TREES SEEDS AND HONEY 

 

Let me smoke my herbs

Undisturbed

Leave me with my flowers

They have powers

And the trees 

They whisper hymns

When you’ve got the ears to listen

So I’ll chant and use my cards

To yoke your weary soul to the stars

And I’ll sing to my plants and my flame

No Babylon 

My soul can’t be tamed

And I don’t need your hollow money

I’ve got my 

Trees

Seeds

And honey

 

So Let us now be silent

No more violence

Fill up our eyes 

With starlight

Do you hear Osiris now

Calling us all back to the Dao

And blood on my shins

The birdsong is my hymn

Do you feel warm 

Listening to a storm

Do you hear the owls yawning

Tell the birds good morning

Do you share a pot of tea 

With your friends that are trees

And whisper to the flowers 

You could stare at them for hours

And do you tell the stars

The elders in the sky

About the stranger 

With the beautiful eyes

Do you ever just let yourself cry

At this Weird and Wonderful Life

 

And I 

Am singing to your inner child

Who still

Laughs and cries

A swan goes by on the rainbow river

In the Dao

In the now

Through infinite stars

In the galaxies of the rainbow river

The Mothers will hold you

To smoke out the greys

 

Just around the bend

Sweet hummingbird friend

It’s my soul you'll mend

When alchemy is sent

 

Now we’re dancing through Egyptian myths

Megaliths hieroglyphs

The suns in my eyes

In the black holes of the rainbow river

The guides will show you magical green

 

The ankhs cover the ground

To my soul 

I'll vow

Not to eat red apples

In the Golden Witch’s chapel

 

And now I live in a salt lamp cave

With Jim and Jim

And starlight veins

Serving soul soup and lilac moss

With a goodnight kiss 

From the elephant God

MADE OF LIGHT 

 

Once upon a time

Lived a young girl 

Trapped in time

And she asked Life

What is this?

Stared in the mirror

Deep within her own blue eyes

And she asked life

Who are you?

The world told her she’s a robot with a heart of gold

But she told them

I just want a heart

The man

He said take my house and take my diamonds

But she told him

I just want the stars

 

With bedtime stories about 

Kings and Queens

And treasure chests

To aspire to

Our fairy tales

Playing games with 

Spades and Clubs and shiny Diamonds

To aspire to 

Keep chasing your tails

Her Mother asked her

She said

What about prince charming

And she told her

I stand alone

Her Father told her 

Store your gold

And live in your box

But she told him

I’m already Home

LULLABY FOR THE UNIVERSE

 

In your arms 

Time is old

Hold my smile

It's growing cold

When you leave

I'll whisper cries

Till I've grown strong and wise

In our veins

The Earth shakes

A thousand human hearts break

Light rains down from above 

When we're held in our Mother's love

 

A Lullaby for the Universe

The stars are leaning in

It’s our time to reverse

The pain that has been 

 

Lightning breaks

Time stands still

Touching scars that we feel

Cradled now

In the womb 

Bright young girls grow up too soon

Pure young boys

Give them guns

Silent screams

What have we done

Violet sways

Air we breathe

Storms dissolve

Now we see

The wind moves wild through the trees

The Earth and the dirt that lies beneath our feet

As we stand hand in hand and wait for the rain

The river of Life flows in blood through our veins

The Sun beams through pale lilac skies

The Light turns to Dark

The Day turns to Night

A Mother calls to her children in the dark

Who run into her arms

Pure in heart

Oh they run into her arms

Pure in heart

 

In the dark

She cradles children close as they cry

In a place where dreams and realities collide

As galaxies and stars merge with skin 

The water of Truth stirs deep within

The Moon beams through deep violet skies

The Night turns to Day

The Dark turns to Light

A Father calls to his children in the dark

Who run into his arms

Hey boys we see you staring at us there

Drawn to our wise eyes and our long wild hair

The Wild Woman is a fascination

She has the power of imagination 

So surrender now

And release all your fear

For Kali-ma and the Goddess is here

Women rise

Sisters connected

Witches rise to be Resurrected 

 

So Rise My Sisters

Cast away the fear from your eyes

Men you don’t need to apologise

We’re headstrong

And our Hearts are Wise

 

Here we stand now full of fire

It’s the wild that our hearts desire

Refuse to feel your shame

For the blood and pain untamed

No this may not serve you well

You look on while we cast spells

Shame it took so long to learn

Here’s to all the Witches that burned

Hey my Child of Mystery

A life lived in simplicity

With mud and tears on my face

When I lived in a state of Grace

Blood and grazes on my knees

The World of Wonder no one sees

Laying on my fairy wings

With Dandelions sing

 

She smiles with the sun and stars

When years were young

Nobody’s wrong

The time we had was ours

She laughs 

Untamed and Wild

When do we stop seeing through 

The eyes of a child

 

Hey my Child of Mystery

Please keep talking to the trees

Breathe the Roses in the rain

Feel their tears run down your face

Laugh with the Stars at night

Feel the air

Drink in the light

Feel the magic in your hands

No adult understands

 

Hey my sweet Child of the Sun

Don't sell your soul at twenty-one

Hold the star dust in your eyes

The Devil wears a sweet disguise

Chains them to their pots of gold

So they can throw their sticks and stones

Hide your sunshine soul away

From the men dressed in grey

He had white light inside

But was wounded by this life 

Couldn’t see what it means

When he was just a boy

Something stole the joy

Concealed and drowned it in black

All that was left was this fear

Couldn’t even shed a tear

Adrift the dark seas all alone

 

Why oh why can’t boys cry

What are these rules we abide by

The stream of tears runs bone dry

 

Alienated and lost

His heart enclosed by frost 

Could love alone melt the cold

Golden and peach in the womb

This world steals love too soon

Leaving souls left to drift

Warm and gentle rivers flow

Spring comes to melt the snow 

To let the wild flowers bloom

Feel her warmth from afar 

Mother fill our bones

With liquid gold
